Who owns SquareDAO?

LPs who contribute to the DAO and (later) token holders.

What types of projects do SquareDAO back?

SquareDAO will identify investment opportunities in the web3 space, including but not limited to DeFi, GameFi, NFTs, L1/L2, etc.

Who can participate in SquareDAO?

Our community includes LPs, backers, and contributors. LPs: Institutional funds or Accredited individual investors who can contribute their wealth and networks to SquareDAO. Backers: Individuals who support any specific project(s) on SquareDAO. Contributors: Individuals or teams that can help develop SquareDAO protocols, or work to arrange due diligence and token swaps with other projects, and request investments from SquareDAO.

How does SquareDAO invest?

LPs can invest directly into SquareDAO treasury. The treasury will be used to invest in the projects that SquareDAO identifies as viable investment targets. These projects can come from SquareDAO’s pipeline, LPs, or contributors. Backers can co-invest with SquareDAO in each project. Up to 80% allocation of each project will be reserved to the community.

How does SquareDAO manage the portfolios?

LPs can access the snapshot of SquareDAO’s treasury here: [add link later]. You will need to connect to the DAO’s multisig wallet Backers can access the snapshots of the specific projects that they back via our Portfolio Dashboard tool. You’ll also need to connect to the project’s wallet.

Which protocols does SquareDAO support?

We provide cross-chain portfolio management for ERC, BSC, Polygon, Avalanche,... so you can view any tokens in your wallets, as long as the wallet is supported by our Portfolio Dashboard tool.

Are there any fees incurred when using SquareDAO?

We charge LPs a flat 2% management fee over their total capital contribution. We currently do not charge backers for the use of the Portfolio Dashboard tool.

Is SquareDAO a registered organization or entity?

SquareDAO is not a registered company (yet). Later we might seek incorporation if that would mean serving our LPs, backers, contributors, and the whole community better.

How secure is SquareDAO?

As with any crypto project, there is a chance for complete loss of funds, exploits or bugs in the smart contract, malicious actions, or mistakes made by multi-sig administrators. Our current design is relatively simple and uses battle-tested components including [list out security measures?].
